September 1, 2015 The Help End Alzheimer’s Walk will be held Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 am at Franconia Community Park.  Join Everence, Frederick Living, Living Branches, Peter Becker Community and Rockhill Mennonite Community and walk in support of Alzheimer’s research and care.  There is no fee to register, but contributions can be made the day of the walk. KC 2015

This past week many gathered from across the country to enter Kansas City and engage in Mennonite Church USA’s 2015 Convention.  It is a time of reunion, worship, planning, and gathering as believers under one King.  Many activities go on at convention.  Concerts every night in the Coffee House area.  Worship for Youth, Adults, Children, and Junior High aged folks every day and evening.  You will see diversity and engagement happening on all different levels.  The week was framed on a theme, ” On the Road”.  Looking for Jesus in the story of the road to Emmaus.  There is a wealth of recap information and see what happened at KC2015.
